FRLA

FRLA is Florida's premier non-profit hospitality industry trade association. Our mission is to ‘Protect, Educate and Promote’ Florida's $82 billion hospitality industry which represents 23% of Florida's economy and more than 1.1 million employees — making it the state's number one industry. We offer regulatory compliance and food safety training needs (RCS and SafeStaff®); industry developed career-building high school programs (FRLAEF); sponsor the only event in Florida exclusively serving the restaurant and foodservice industry (FR&L Show, September 27-29 2016 in Orlando); and we safeguard the needs of the hospitality industry by providing legislative advocacy. We represent and serve more than 10,000 independent and household name members, suppliers, and theme parks. For more information, go to www.FRLA.org and find us on Twitter @FRLAnews, Facebook and YouTube.

LifeNet4Families

Since 1985, LifeNet4Families has worked to ensure that individuals and families living in Broward County and facing financial hardship can obtain food and other basic necessities. While reducing hunger is the primary goal of the organization (we serve over 200 meals a day, distribute 1800 food boxes each month to individuals and families in need, and deliver food to home bound elderly), LifeNet4Families works to help clients regain or maintain stability by providing access to on-site shower facilities, basic medical care, haircuts, clothing, counseling, referrals, job readiness preparation, emergency financial assistance, mailing address usage, and mail retrieval services.

We're proud to provide food to the hungry, advocate for the voiceless, intervene and redirect those who've lost their way, and serve as a surrogate family for countless people who find themselves alone during a period of personal crisis—365 days a year.
